In a turn out of event, the once leading New York Giants has now been outpaced by rival New England Patriots in Super Bowl 2012. As of this writing, the Patriots are now leading the game with a score of 17-15 at the end of the third quarter.

Just to give a recap, in the first quarter, the Giants led the game scoring a solid 9 points. In the second quarter, the Patriots this time made a solid 10 points. On the third quarter, the Patriots led the game with a score of 7 points against Giants' score of 6 points.



The third quarter has now ended and we have a tight battle here for the Super Bowl 2012 Vince Lombardi trophy. We are now about to enter fourth quarter. Who's more hungry for victory? Who's your bet to win Super Bowl 2012?

Among the 55 votes that was currently gathered, 28 voted for New York Giants while 27 voted for New England Patriots. This gives the Super Bowl 2012 pretty unpredictable as the two competing NFL teams are equally strong to win this year's Vince Lombardi trophy.

While the New York Giants won in their first encounter against New England Patriots in Super Bowl 2008, it doesn't surely follow that they will be the winner for the second time in Super Bowl 2012. Let's see the odds of Super Bowl 2012 between the two competing teams:

It's Patriots Offense vs. Giants Defense. The Giants must get to Tom Brady and his offensive line must protect well. Here, New England really needs to establish a running game. Patriots Arrived First at Super Bowl 2012 Venue

The Super Bowl 2012 is only a week ahead. As one of the millions of NFL fans, I am equally excited to witness who will be the champion this time as New England Patriots and New York Giants battle will have a repeat battle for Super Bowl 2012 on February 5, 2012 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Between the two competing NFL teams, the New England Patriots as first to arrive in Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, January 29, 2012. The Patriots beat the Giants to the Super Bowl city by a day, with the Giants scheduled to travel on Monday.



The two teams are set to practice this week at the Indianapolis Colts’ training facility to be in shape in preparation for their ultimate battle at Super Bowl 2012.

This year's Super Bowl 2012 is the most expensive sporting event that SeatGeek.com tracked. SeatGeek.com tracks trends and prices for Super Bowl tickets on the secondary market at sites such as StubHub, Empire Tickets, Ticket Liquidator, Ticket City, GOtickets, eBay and the NFL Ticket Exchange.

As of Wednesday, January 25, 2012, SeatGeek.com reported that the average price for Super Bowl 2012 tickets are pegged at $3,127.



Super Bowl 2012 tickets peaked on Monday, January 23, 2012, when the the two competing NFL teams for Super Bowl 2012, New York Giants and New England Patriots, were announced with tickets averaging at $3,943. Between the two NFL teams, about 31% of the tickets are nailed by New York Giants’ fans located in New York and New Jersey.

The cheapest Super Bowl 2012 ticket in the Lucas Oil Stadium is currently listed at $2,098 for a seat in the 600 Level Endzone. Beyond that, there are numerous ticket price listings in the $2,300 to $2,400 range. In contrast, the most expensive Super Bowl 2012 ticket is $608,475 which is located in a field-level suite, SeatGeek added.

Don Vaccaro, the CEO of TicketNetwork.com and a veteran of the ticket industry compares Super Bowl ticket prices between now and then. “What a difference it is between now and then. I can remember when the NFL had trouble selling out the Super Bowl. Now, it’s the premier ticket in American sports. The prices reflect that,” Vacarro said.

By comparison, last year’s Super Bowl 2011 tickets in Dallas, Texas averaged $3,067, according to SeatGeek.

The NFL Ticket Exchange is the NFL’s official ticket swap destination with cheapest prices running more than $3,500 as of Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Although Super Bowl 2012 tickets can be availed in other third party websites, the NFL warned fans to be wary of fake tickets.

The final two teams for the Super Bowl 2012 have already bee unveiled after the NFC and AFC Championship games were held on January 22, 2012.

What's up Super Bowl 2012 fans? While we are still waiting for the outcome of the NFL lockout in which the destiny of Super Bowl 2012 lies, here's some great news for you!

MainGate, the exclusive merchandiser of NFL teams that includes Colts, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Washington Redskins, Tennessee Titans, among others, have began.

Super Bowl 46 merchandise went on sale locally July 1, and will continue beyond the event date. The assortment of products available locally will change and grow as it gets closer to game time, said MainGate CEO Dave Moroknek.

Through an agreement with the NFL and the Indianapolis Colts, items ranging from t-shirts and sweat shirts to mugs and pennants are available exclusively through ColtsProShop.com and at the Colts ProShop in Lucas Oil Stadium and Circle Centre mall through the end of July.

In August, the NFL will release the Super Bowl 2012 items at other retail outlets nationwide. If ever I had the chance to buy those Super Bowl 2012 products, I'll definitely buy one! That's it guys! Super Bowl 2012's official logo features an image of the Lombardi Trophy, the words 'Super Bowl XLVI' referring to the roman numeral of "Super Bowl 46" and an image of the exterior of Lucas Oil Stadium where Super Bowl 2012 will be held next year, February 5, 2012.
