Based on the current Super Bowl 2012 poll that I'm currently running here at Super Bowl 2012 Live Stream, it seems that there will be a tight match on February 5, 2012 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Indiana. Among the 55 votes that was currently gathered, 28 voted for New York Giants while 27 voted for New England Patriots. This gives the Super Bowl 2012 pretty unpredictable as the two competing NFL teams are equally strong to win this year's Vince Lombardi trophy.
While the New York Giants won in their first encounter against New England Patriots in Super Bowl 2008, it doesn't surely follow that they will be the winner for the second time in Super Bowl 2012. Let's see the odds of Super Bowl 2012 between the two competing teams:
It's Patriots Offense vs. Giants Defense. The Giants must get to Tom Brady and his offensive line must protect well. Here, New England really needs to establish a running game. As seen with their fight against Baltimore Ravens, New England is capable of running the rock when needed. So, the trick is proving to stop the run while always being aware of Rob Gronkowski.
It's Giants Offense vs. Patriots Defense. In reverse to the first situation, Eli Manning needs to outscore Tom Brady. The Giants need Manning to be flawless at throwing, deceiving (carrying out fakes) and clock management.
Coaches. Looking at their respective coaches, Super Bowl 2012 will be the eight appearance of Bill Belichick as head coach for the Patriots while Tom Coughlin's appearance for the Giants will be his second appearance as head coach. Comparing between the two of them, definitely the Patriots have the advantage on this side.
