Patriots Arrived First at Super Bowl 2012 Venue
The Super Bowl 2012 is only a week ahead. As one of the millions of NFL fans, I am equally excited to witness who will be the champion this time as New England Patriots and New York Giants battle will have a repeat battle for Super Bowl 2012 on February 5, 2012 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Between the two competing NFL teams, the New England Patriots as first to arrive in Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, January 29, 2012. The Patriots beat the Giants to the Super Bowl city by a day, with the Giants scheduled to travel on Monday.
The two teams are set to practice this week at the Indianapolis Colts’ training facility to be in shape in preparation for their ultimate battle at Super Bowl 2012.
The Patriots is seeking their fourth Super Bowl championship this time. They have qualified for their fifth Super Bowl appearance in the last 11 seasons with Belichick as their coach and Tom Brady as their quarterback.
Meanwhile, the Giants beat the Patriots during the regular season of the NFL. They also defeated the Patriots in the Super Bowl four years ago in Super Bowl 2008.

This year's Super Bowl 2012 is the most expensive sporting event that SeatGeek.com tracked. SeatGeek.com tracks trends and prices for Super Bowl tickets on the secondary market at sites such as StubHub, Empire Tickets, Ticket Liquidator, Ticket City, GOtickets, eBay and the NFL Ticket Exchange.
As of Wednesday, January 25, 2012, SeatGeek.com reported that the average price for Super Bowl 2012 tickets are pegged at $3,127.
Super Bowl 2012 tickets peaked on Monday, January 23, 2012, when the the two competing NFL teams for Super Bowl 2012, New York Giants and New England Patriots, were announced with tickets averaging at $3,943. Between the two NFL teams, about 31% of the tickets are nailed by New York Giants’ fans located in New York and New Jersey.
The cheapest Super Bowl 2012 ticket in the Lucas Oil Stadium is currently listed at $2,098 for a seat in the 600 Level Endzone. Beyond that, there are numerous ticket price listings in the $2,300 to $2,400 range. In contrast, the most expensive Super Bowl 2012 ticket is $608,475 which is located in a field-level suite, SeatGeek added.
Don Vaccaro, the CEO of TicketNetwork.com and a veteran of the ticket industry compares Super Bowl ticket prices between now and then. “What a difference it is between now and then. I can remember when the NFL had trouble selling out the Super Bowl. Now, it’s the premier ticket in American sports. The prices reflect that,” Vacarro said.
By comparison, last year’s Super Bowl 2011 tickets in Dallas, Texas averaged $3,067, according to SeatGeek.
The NFL Ticket Exchange is the NFL’s official ticket swap destination with cheapest prices running more than $3,500 as of Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Although Super Bowl 2012 tickets can be availed in other third party websites, the NFL warned fans to be wary of fake tickets.

Super Bowl 2012 Uniforms Announced
The countdown to Super Bowl 2012 has already began! According to Indianapolis Super Bowl, one of the official sites of Super Bowl 2012, it's exactly 11 days and 21 hours as of this writing before the much awaited NFL Championship clash between the New York Giants vs. New England Patriots.
New York Giants and New England Patriots had each three victories in Super Bowl games in the past. However, the Patriots participated in seven Super Bowl games while the Giants only participated in five Super Bowl games.
Super Bowl 2012 will be the second Super Bowl in which the two NFL teams competed for the Vince Lombardi trophy as the two previously met in Super Bowl 2008 where New York Giants won.
The New York Giants wore white uniforms when they defeated the New England Patriots (and stopped their quest for 19-0) in Super Bowl XLII, 17-14.
Last January 23, the Giants announced that they will again be wearing white uniforms when they have their Super Bowl rematch with the Patriots on Feb. 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium (Giants Twitter) for Super Bowl 2012. The Patriots will be in their blue uniforms for the game.

Two Teams for Super Bowl 2012 Revealed
The final two teams for the Super Bowl 2012 have already bee unveiled after the NFC and AFC Championship games were held on January 22, 2012.
The New England Patriots won the AFC Championship game against Baltimore Ravens in a score 23-20 while the New York Giants won the NFC Championship game against San Francisco 49ers in a score of 20-17. These two teams will face each other in the Super Bowl 2012 to be held live at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
In the AFC Championship game, Tom Brady got all the help he needed to get the New England Patriots into the Super Bowl 2012. He waited out the final tense minutes on the sideline, and somehow his fourth-quarter leap into the end zone held up and sent him and the Patriots back to the Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, in the NFC Championship game, Lawrence Tynes' winning 31-yard field goal 7:54 into overtime put the New York Giants to advance for the Super Bowl 2012.

2012 NFL Playoff Schedule
The Road for Super Bowl 2012 has began. Twelve NFL teams qualify for the 2012 NFL Playoffs games in which the AFC and NFC will select their respective representatives for the Super Bowl 2012 which is slated to happen on February 5, 2012 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Six teams for each conference, AFC and NFC, will battle in the 2012 NFL Playoffs to determine the representatives of each conference for Super Bowl 2012. NFC has Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons, and Detroit Lions. AFC has New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cincinnati Bengals.
The 2012 NFL Playoffs games starts today, January 7, 2012 with a kick off match in AFC with Cincinnati Bengals vs. Houston Texans. Below are the complete schedule of the NFL Playoffs which will start with a NFL Wildcard Weekend:
